Upper Base Camp Fishing Report

Reporting for the Week of July 3 to July 10, 2021

WATER TEMP AND CLARITY
Water temps have been cold at 46 degrees and the river is clear… The river came up eight inches this week due to rain and now it is dropping again.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
Another cold and wet week. We are due for some good warm weather.

HOT FLY OF THE WEEK
The mouse is still working great and all of the normal wet flies.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
The highlight of the week for me was having my wife Jo and daughter Sam in camp. We were full so they just fished from camp. They did surprising well for the limited amount of water they could fish.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
The best guides, the best water, the best fish, the best Alaskan experience hands down!! Hugh Guill Houston,Tx
