UPPER BASE CAMP FISHING REPORT
REPORTING FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 27 TO AUGUST 3
WATER TEMP AND CLARITY
The river is still low and clear with water temps in the mid to upper fifties.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
Most of the week was dry with very little rain. We did get some rain on Friday and we had wind to 20 mph.
HOT FLY OF THE WEEK
All the same flies are working and Peachy egg patterns are working well for trout and Dollies.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
The highlight for me was have my daughter Katie and her husband Josh in camp. We also had my wife Joanne and daughter Sam stop by while they were on one of our float trips. It was great to all be together even though it was for a short time.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
Another incredible week with the Duncans on the Kanektok R. We love the consistency of the amazing fishing, food and hospitality! Darrell Webb West Linn,OR
