COMMENTS FOR THE WEEK:

If you have followed our fishing reports or fished with us this season you know that the trout fishing has been more challenging this year. We have had a cold wet summer and as a result cold high water. The Salmon returns have been great, but the trout have been tough. This week things turned around big time and the trout fishing picked up overnight. The combination of warming water, spawning Chums, and good visibility, made for some unforgettable afternoons sight fishing big trout. In the morning most of our guests targeted Silvers, more and more fish are continuing the show up every day. The guests this week have been fishing with us for a long time. The Carey week AKA “family week” always have a couple of shore lunches, and we were fortunate to have some beautiful days to cook dollies over an open fire. With awesome fishing, great weather, and a group of guests we consider a part of our family, this will be a week that will be hard to top.
