Cutler Duncan with our retired Chef Colleen Carey with a nice Bow!
WATER TEMPERATURE AND CLARITY:
Water temps are still in the middle 50sF and clarity is holding around 6-7ft.
WEATHER CONDITIONS:
We’ve experienced all four seasons this week (sometimes all in the same day) with cloudy mornings turning into sunny afternoons and rounded out the week with the typical grey and cloudy conditions with some rainy mornings in the mix.
HOT FLY OF THE WEEK:
Pink and chartreuse dali lamas have been catching the majority of the salmon this week where bead-tipped streamers have been putting up good numbers of rainbows.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK:
Colleen (Cooker) of Ohio caught a stud rainbow on the mouse!
QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
Another successful family week in the books!
WILDLIFE SPOTTED:
Been seeing a few bears and bull Moose from our camp! Additional sightings include mink, weasel, and beaver.
COMMENTS FOR THE WEEK:
The salmon are still coming in strong with Silvers, Sockeye, chrome Chum, and hoards of fresh Humpies being caught daily. Rainbows are starting to move off the banks and situating themselves along with the Dollies behind the salmon beds, although some are still hanging up high and still willing to move on a well-presented mouse.
