WATER TEMPERATURE AND CLARITY:
Heavy rains at the beginning of the week raised and discolored the river quite a bit. Temps are holding around 53F and visibility is currently around 3.5ft.
WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Weather has been overcast with heavy rains at the beginning of the week and some lighter rain here towards the end.
HOT FLY OF THE WEEK:
Dali Lamas have caught the most landed Silvers and the flesh flies have been responsible for the majority of the Rainbows this week.

WILDLIFE SPOTTED:
Some bear and beavers are the only large mammals seen this week. We also saw one huge bull Moose. Wigeon, speckle bellies, magpies, some bald eagles and gray jays are the primary birds around
COMMENTS FOR THE WEEK:
Silvers are still coming in strong and there’s plenty of Rainbows and Dollies to go around making for a great end to an incredible 2023 season on the legendary Kanektok!
