Will and Ali with two great Silvers!
Caren Tucker and DeeDee Fleitz with an awesome double.
WATER TEMPERATURE AND CLARITY:
Water is back in the low to mid 50s and clarity has improved to around 3ft and clearing up more every day.
WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Weather has been mostly overcast with some rainy and misty days in the mix. Great salmon weather!
HOT FLY OF THE WEEK:
Pink wogs and black and white dali lamas put up great numbers of Silvers where the bead is the go-to for Rainbows and Dollies.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK:
The Fleitz and Sellmeyer families hammered Silvers all week and were doubled up more often than not.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
“That was three fish on one cast!”
WILDLIFE SPOTTED:
Lots of goldeneye, ptarmigan, eagles, gulls were seen this week. We also had a juvenile short-eared owl perched on the marina bar this week! Only one Bear sighting.
COMMENTS FOR THE WEEK:
River is finally dropping and clearing up and the Silvers are everywhere! Trout and Dollie fishing is also picking back up as the water recedes and clears.
