WATER TEMPERATURE AND CLARITY: 

Water temps are holding in the mid 50s and water clarity is currently around 3 to 4ft due to recent rains, but should clear up in a few days.

Weather has been mostly overcast with some wind and rainy days in the mix.

B.A.S.S. fishing icon Billy & Sue Murray came up to camp for the week for his first time on the Kanektok in 30 years. With the exception of just a few more boats on the river, he says its just as good as he remembers.

WILDLIFE SPOTTED: 

Many beaver, mink, and a few bears have been seen this week. Common birds seen this week include wigeon, bald eagle, osprey, speckle belly geese, Mew gulls, sandhill cranes, and sparrows. 

COMMENTS FOR THE WEEK:

The Silvers are coming in thick with the slight rise in water level and the Rainbow/Dolley bite is hot now that the spawn is on!
