Fred Hansen with a beautiful Bow!

WATER TEMPERATURE AND CLARITY:
The river was high and colored up when we flew in to set up boats and start taking camp up river. It has been dropping and clearing for the last three weeks. Water temps this week have been from 48 to 51 degrees. The clarity is great and the river is dropping into great shape.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
Very little rain this week and it was partially cloudy on most days with temps in the mid fifties.

HOT FLY OF THE WEEK:
The Hoodrat, and Dolly Llamas. The Mouse has been fishing great!

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK:
Man, we caught lots of big Arctic Grayling on the mouse this week. The real highlight this week was the guests that we had in camp! Great friends that have fished with us for years and know how to enjoy a trip. Some great casters that were not afraid to get it in there.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
Food was great! Great Variety! Amenities were fantastic. All guides were the most profesional, personal and fun people I could possibly imagine. Super Experience!! Thanks, Danny Schneider

WILDLIFE SPOTTED:
We have been seeing a lot of Moose this year. We have also seen Caribou, Wolves and a wayward Porcupine .

COMMENTS FOR THE WEEK:
Man, what a great group and week to start the season. This group is like having family in camp. As the river drops the fishing is getting better daily. Kings, Chums, and Sockeye Salmon are just starting to show in big numbers in the upper river. Next week should be great fishing
