COMMENTS FOR THE WEEK:
Another amazing week of fishing with a ton of fish pouring in the river. We started the week off fishing for Kings and Chums. We are all very excited because the King run this year is has been great. We are seeing bigger and more Kings than we have in a while. This week the Chums showed up in full force, there’s more than enough to make your arms sore! Mid-week we started looking for marching Sockeye and found some really good spots to target them. It was great fun lining up on a bar with Jim Teeny, his two grandsons and company and ripping on big Sockeyes. Additionally, the trout fishing is picking up. When moving from spot to spot in the upper river we did a fair amount of mousing and the trout are looking up. With a dropping and clearing river it’s a great time to be on The Chosen.
