WATER TEMPERATURE AND CLARITY:
Water temp has been holding right around 50 degrees and is clearer both in the upper river and below tundra bank.

We had a couple nice partly sunny days at the beginning of the week and the rest of the week was misty with off and on wind.
HOT FLY OF THE WEEK:
Renegade for Grayling, a variety of intruders for Kings, and anything pink for Chums.

We had a guest go 20 casts with 20 Chums. The dollies showed up in big numbers starting to hold on shallow bars below spawning salmon. They are eager to eat a well-presented bead.

Lynx, Moose, Beavers, Mink and Eagles
COMMENTS FOR THE WEEK:
We always love the Brit week, seeing lots of familiar faces from the UK and catching fish with them is something we look forward to. We started off the week catching big Kings and Chums until everyone had their fill and then transitioned to trout, dollies and a Brit favorite, the Arctic Grayling. The Rainbows were on the banks and root wads readily eating mouse patterns and streamers for the beginning of the week and then began to transition to ledges and in behind the spawning salmon towards the end of the week. Dollies are starting to show up in great numbers already with some fairly big ones being caught every day. Fresh, chrome, backing pulling chums are still flooding in the river in large numbers with a few silvers starting to show up down in the lower river. We did a lot of Sockeye fishing as well this week when the clouds would clear for visibility to see them marching up the insides. Overall, it was another fantastic week of ripping lips with great friends and guests from the UK
