Water Temperature and Clarity:

58-62℉ clear to start the week and gin by Friday

Weather Conditions:

There was a moment Thursday afternoon when the sun shone through the clouds for 15 minutes and everyone rejoiced! Friday was absolutely gorgeous but for the most part the week was cloudy with drizzle for every other day besides.

Hot Fly of the Week:

Purple Egg-Sucking Leech

Highlight of the Week:

Highlight of the week was the hot and heavy Silver fishing with an incredible camp atmosphere!

Quote of the Week:

“Who’s your daddy now?!”

Wildlife Spotted:

As always, we are seeing lots of birds: Mallards, Teal, Pintails, Widgeon, Harlequins and Geese. We are also seeing all the shore birds along with lots of Eagles, Goshawks, Falcons, Ospreys and Tundra Swans.

Comments for the Week:

The Chosen is low and clear! Chrome Silvers are pouring in every day while trout are everywhere. On the banks, behind salmon beds or in the root wads, you can’t lose.  Dollies are getting more and more colorful by the day in concert with the foliage overhead, autumn is assuredly creeping in.
